I'm updating a form via AJAX and I'd like to refill the form with the updated data on success.

If i click with the mouse on the second input, and them on the first input, the “Type in a search term” tip of both remains open.

1. From Ryan's post, change all instances of hide_dropdown to setTimeout(function() { hide_dropdown_ontimer(); }, 300);

Instead of changing all instances, you can simply change the hide_dropdown function as follows:

1. From Robin's post, change the .mousedown event in function populate_dropdown(). Simply copy the code from .click() into .mousedown. I added a condition to do this only for IE.
